A couple of months ago, we've witnessed the proliferation of Cebu Pacific Airlines viral video featuring their flight attendants dancing in Lady Gaga's song. It elicited worldwide buzz and made Cebu Pacific a household name in the airline industry. It also drew criticism from some sector of the society calling for 'misguided actions in the demonstration of airline safety'.
Nevertheless, it was still a creative way to showcase new and effective method in gaining corporate recognition especially if you're aiming for an IPO (wink)
But wait, there's more?! Who does it better? Just right before the year ends, SEAIR, another local carrier, aims to gain the same feat by coming up with their own Youtube video. This time, featuring two sexy Santa's dancing robotically before giving gifts to their bewildered passengers.
Be the judge. Let me know your insights :)

Merry Christmas Folks
I hope everything is well with you. This is the day where we are gathered together as a family and share joys and gifts with each other. But along the way, we tend to forget that this day is supposed to be His birthday.
Have you send Him your gift lately?

Shoes must go on... The Hunt for the elusive Vans shoes
The best stores could probably be in Greenbelt 5.
I went to Powerplant Mall in Rockwell this afternoon to witness another Muji store in Manila. This is probably the same size as in The Fort. Located just beside Fully Booked on the third-level of Powerplant, Muji's second flagship in Manila is definitely a crowd-getter.
If you are an avid Muji fan, this photo is an absolute eye-candy. I can't help but lay my hands on every item and savor the beauty of simplicity on each item.
Muji has a wide-array of products - name it, slippers, clothes, notebooks, towels, pillows, organizers. Muji is definitely an O-C (Organized Citizen) mecca.

The Best of 2010 1 of 10
Now, let's do a rundown of what made 2010 the best year so far.
Twitter has made a revolution. It made the flow of information faster than we could ever think of. Social Media has revolutionized the information highway and it is growing at a rate so fast even the experts dread this could kill some of the traditional forms of communication (newspaper, television)
And what a way to cap the year by revisiting some of the best tweet in the world wide web.
I picked.
Charice started a phenomenom. Thanks to Ellen DeGeneres and Oprah Winfrey, the world has seen how talented we Filipinos are.

Elements of a Good Skin
Perhaps maybe it is the common stigma that prevails in our society that prevents guys to take care of their skin. For centuries, it has been a mis-belief among us that vanity is only reserved for girls. But in reality, guys do want to have a perfect, flawless skin. They are just too damn, shy to admit it.
I have a very, bad oily skin. My face has always been shiny and prone to acne ever since. One of the things that makes me uncomfortable is that gargantuan zit that is located in my face. Break-outs, blackheads and acne are guys and girls are a major source of insecurity.
Maybe it runs in the family. My elder brothers share the same dilemma until now. My elder brother used to buy almost everything in the skin care products shelf in the supermarket. Even the expensive solutions that are sold on TV. Unfortunately, my brother didn't get what he wanted.
It's all a matter of trying what is best for your skin. In my case, I tried organic products and skin care that have salicylic acid that fights pimples.
I am using St. Ives Blackhead and Blemish Control right now and it is right on the money. It has these microbeads that gently expoliate your skin. But don't get carried away by trying to rub your skin too hard. It may not be the best way to get rid of those deeply-rooted bacterias.

Also, if you are particular about the amount of oil that is produced by your skin, you may want to try CETAPHIL specifically for Oily Skin.
I advise not to buy large content bottle first. It's a sad fact that you can't test the items first to determine the products compatibility to your skin first. It may be a trial and error, but it's definitely worth the try.
Some people do recommend toners and moisturizer but it's not always the case. Some are not responding very well to those after-wash products.

Merry Christmas Wishes
I don't know where and when did I start fascinating about these two amazing bracelet/bangles for men courtesy of Hermes and Charriol.
I can only just wish to buy these two pieces of luxury. But take your pick. What's your type?

Arkiv Vilmansa in Manila
Coolness
Indonesian artist Arkiv has been painting, illustrating and designing cartoon like figures since 2005. Shortly after finishing his Bachelor degree in Architecture he plunged into the art world citing his love for drawing figures as his inspiration for this change of career path. Arkiv had a strong debut with his first vinyl figurine called “Arkiv Instant.” After Arkiv Instant many exciting vinyl toys followed including a redesign of Mickey Mouse for Disney Asia.
Arkiv describes himself: “I’m a half animal and half dream. I’m a blend of an overweight panda and Killer whale. I eat kids and I drink bloods. I’m instantly rude and 100% dirty. I sleep longer than any creation the world has ever seen, I sleep like a dead hero and no star. I talk rubbish and my breath smells like it.”
His description reflects the same silliness and complexity of his characters. Smiling cartoons flipping you the bird. Figures strangling each other. Teddy bears hanging on a rope are just some of the oddities that Arkiv paints with cheery colors and his signature curvy and graphic style.

I can't believe I haven't noticed this wonderful piece of art. Too bad I can't catch up with him today. Maybe next time.

Amazing Music Video of the week
Madness, lately I've been revisiting the idea of becoming a music video director, but I am not sure how to get into that. Meanwhile, let me share this video that I found interesting. Inception much?

And, oh, Google has released the Chrome OS preview already.
What's cool about it? They say it's more focused on the web experience and it has faster start-up and quick shut-down. We'll see...

Conquering McKinley
As if a mountain to hurdle, Martin and I went to a spree last weekend to get a dose of 'The Fort' life. For many years, we have been staying in Eastwood in all our gimmicks and we haven't got the chance to go to farther places. Now it's the time as we are spontaneous and we are eager to see some fun.
First stop, Muji. I first heard about it in Chuvaness blog and the name of the store already sounded interesting. Perhaps, the single-most word to define what Muji is all about is 'minimalism'. A famed brand/store in Japan, Muji is located in the heart of Bonifacio Global City just right above the GAP store in High Street. Muji is known for their no-brand trademarks with product that ranges from furnitures, kitchen utensils, school supplies and many more.
The reason why I went here is because I am so eager to buy their signature planner, but unfortunately it was out of stock. Instead, I humbled myself and bought this fantastic wood inspired notebook for just Php165. Coolness. You have to feel the texture of the paper. It's divine.

Yes, some may see Muji fans as tacky and lacks sense of style, but followers of this brand are very much attuned to the simplistic and minimalist style.
This store is also for O-C people ^_^ Organized citizen will consider Muji as a mecca.
Muji has a lot of trays, dividers, organizers, bins and even blankets, pillows and towels.
Look how orderly the fold of the towels could be.
Martin flipping the notebooks
And me stepping on the wood tiles that I desperately wants to put in my room.
The Holiday Rush
I can smell the aroma of Christmas in the air. And shoot, it's like the second week of December and I haven't bought gifts for my friends and loved ones yet.
Today we went to World Trade Center to scour almost 500 exhibitors for the 'World Bazaar Expo' that started last December 3. It wasn't as crowded as Greenhills or Divisoria so if you are looking for a less-stressful shopping experience then go to WBE, though the variety of items sold can somehow be less inviting also.
If you are looking for a cheap Havaianas you will find at least three or four stalls selling 50% off the regular price. I bought a black slipper for only Php 500.
I was looking for unique items. I was starving for creative stuffs that might tickle my interest, but instead, I was seeing the same clothes and stuffs in every corner.
Kindly prepare Php 50 for the entrance fee by the way :)
